Jane graduated from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 1990 and went on to complete her Bachelor of Health Science in Physiotherapy at McMaster University in Ontario, finishing her final clinical requirements in London, England.
She started working on the east coast in St. John’s Newfoundland at the General Hospital, and enjoyed hospital clinical settings in neuro, stroke rehab., prosthetic rehab., respiratory and orthopaedics.
On returning to Vancouver Island, Jane worked 17 full and part time years at Lantzville Physiotherapy, Nanaimo Summitt Injury Management (Occupational Rehab), with locums in Comox, Courtenay and Qualicum physiotherapy clinics. She participated in two ironman triathlons, ran a few marathons, rode her bike to Peru and has 5 children. She started work at Oceanside Physiotherapy in 2014.
Jane presently coaches and is on the executive for oceanside youth soccer and youth track and field. She is a mother, plays hockey, swims, bikes and runs with her dogs.
